Danial Sheini Dashtgoli

I am a Research Fellow at OGS working on geothermal energy systems, with a strong focus on physics-based numerical modelling and AI-driven methods.
My research covers geothermal resource characterization, predictive and uncertainty-aware modelling, anomaly detection, and AI-based thermal mapping of subsurface systems, integrating data-driven approaches with physical constraints.
I am also a Visiting Researcher at the University of Melbourne, collaborating on geothermal energy modelling and joint peer-reviewed publications.
My background includes prior industry experience as a geotechnical engineer, which informs my research with practical, engineering-oriented perspectives.
