
Geophysics for the future of the planet: GNGTS is back
From 11 to 14 February Bologna will host the 43rd National Conference of the GNGTS - National Solid Earth Geophysics Group, the most important annual event in Italy for geophysical research, organised by the OGS and endorsed by the University of Bologna.
For three days, 300 scientists from the fields of geophysics, seismology, volcanology and engineering from all over Italy will discuss the three macro-themes "Seismicity, volcanoes, data and models", "Analysing and reducing the risk of natural disasters" and "Applied geophysics for energy, environment and new technologies”.
Participation in the conference - organised with the support of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology INGV, Codevintec, the Italian section of EAGE-SEG, YETITMOVES and Stonex - is free of charge and open to all interested parties working in the field of geosciences.
