NATURE Project Proposal
As part of the NATURE project proposal – Network for Advancing Technology in Using Research Infrastructures for the Environment – coordinated by the National Research Council (CNR) and with OGS participating as a co-proponent, an Expression of Interest has been published to invite companies to participate. The goal is to promote research and innovation activities by encouraging the shared use of data, services, and facilities for the development of joint projects and technology transfer.
The proposal, currently under preparation, is being submitted in response to the public notice issued by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) No. 310 dated 18/03/2025, entitled "Strengthening public Research Infrastructures (RIs) operating within the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) for the technological advancement of enterprises", under Action 1.1.1 of the National Programme for Research, Innovation, and Competitiveness for the Green and Digital Transition 2021–2027 (PN RIC 2021–2027).
The main focus of the proposal is to strengthen the national component of the European-scale research infrastructures: ACTRIS, ICOS, LIFEWATCH, EMSO, Euro-Argo, DANUBIUS, JERICO, DISSCO, EuroFleet, EIRENE, EUFAR, and SIOS, within the following priority areas of the National Smart Specialisation Strategy (SNSI): Smart and Sustainable Industry, Energy and Environment, and Aerospace and Defence.
Documentation must be submitted according to the procedures defined in the notice no later than 12:00 p.m. on 09/06/2025.
