Since 2016, OGS has been carrying out the activities defined in the Monitoring Plan for the area adjacent to the Servola submarine outfall, aimed to assess the impact of the effluents on the quality of the receiving water body—particularly in terms of enrichment with macronutrients, organic matter, and contaminants—and, at the same time, determining the response of the biological compartment.
