A scientific seminar in occasion of the World Water Day

World Water Day is held annually on 22 March, an anniversary established by the United Nations with the aim of making institutions, citizens and stakeholders aware of the value of this precious resource. This year's edition is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.

On this date, OGS and Viveracqua, will host a scientific seminar on Wednesday, March 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Parco delle Fonti di Torrate di Chions (PN).

The seminar involves researchers from OGS, Arpav Veneto, Università di Padova and Università di Ferrara, who will discuss with water managers on the acceleration brought by the climate emergency, with persistent droughts, frequent heat waves and extreme weather phenomena.

The event is free to attend and open to all by pre-registration. Members of the Order of Geologists have the opportunity to earn education credits (CFP).
