The 2020 edition of AMARE-MED, due to Covid-19 situation, was postponed in 2021. 

The school was focused on quantitative methods for EAF application and included:

• indepth investigation of single and multispecies spatial models using GADGET and SeaPopDym with focus on the technical interactions and overview of the management strategy evaluation;
• use of ECOSPACE of the Ecopath with Ecosim suite to address multidisciplinary dimension of ecosystem management including both socio-economic and environmental issues. 

The course was highly technical, with practical hands-on computer activities, assignments and programming. 

The school was held from 21 to 26 June 2021 in Split (Croatia).
