The comic book "Orcolat 1976 - Terremoto: istruzioni per l’uso!", created by the OGS and illustrator Francesca Presentini - Fraffrog, was presented in Udine.
To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the 1976 Friuli earthquake, the Centre for Seismological Research of the OGS produced "Orcolat 1976 - Terremoto: istruzioni per l’uso!", an original comic book designed to facilitate understanding of seismic phenomena and their management across the territory, with a particular focus on younger generations.
Today, at the Bearzi Salesian Institute in Udine, researchers from the OGS, the Director of the CRS Matteo Picozzi and the General Director of the OGS Paola Del Negro gave a presentation to the local students, alongside Francesca Presentini, also known as "Fraffrog", and Stefano "TheSparker" Conte.
We would like to thank Regional Councillor Alessia Rosolen of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region for speaking at the event, and all the classes that took part in the meeting.
The initiative was organised by the OGS, in collaboration with Francesca Presentini (aka Fraffrog) and publisher Gigaciao S.r.l.
The project was coordinated by Blue Monkey Studio.
