OGS at the 2026 National Civil Protection Week

The National Civil Protection Week returns from 12 to 18 October, an initiative dedicated to promoting a culture of prevention and raising awareness of natural hazards. As part of the initiative, from 15 to 18 October, OGS will take part in “Percorsi di Protezione Civile” , a thematic village set up in Piazza di Siena, in Villa Borghese, Rome. The event will be inaugurated on Thursday, 15 October, by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

OGS’s participation will provide an opportunity to showcase the contribution of scientific research and technology to the study of natural phenomena and risk prevention.

The village will be open to the public from 15 to 18 October, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering demonstrations, practical activities and meetings aimed at raising awareness of the activities of Italy’s National Civil Protection Service.
