Paola Del Negro reconfirmed as General Director of OGS

OGS has reconfirmed Paola Del Negro as General Director of the Institute. The decision represents a renewed vote of confidence in her leadership and in the growth path undertaken by OGS under her direction. In recent years, the Institute has consolidated and further strengthened its position as a leading reference point in the fields of oceanography and applied geophysics, promoting and enhancing high-level scientific, technological, and managerial expertise.

“During her tenure, Paola Del Negro has successfully championed top-tier research and consolidated major international relationships and collaborations, while maintaining a strong connection with the local community,” stated Nicola Casagli, President of OGS.
