Simone Libralato and Diego Panzeri of OGS have been given the La Lagunare 2026 Award
As part of the 'Weekend Lagunare', an event organised by Cicloturistica La Lagunare, the La Lagunare 2026 Award was recently bestowed upon Simone Libralato and Diego Panzeri of the OGS. This award acknowledges their dedication to safeguarding marine and lagoon ecosystems, as well as their notable contributions to science communication.
The award is given to individuals who stand out for promoting slow mobility, safeguarding the environment and enhancing local communities.
Through this recognition, Cicloturistica La Lagunare aimed to highlight the efforts of the two OGS researchers. With their expertise, passion and dedication, they contributed to raising public environmental awareness and promoting the natural heritage of the Marano and Grado lagoons.
