Pelagos Sanctuary is a strategic and cooperative board game dedicated to the protection of the marine environment at the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.
Players must create and manage their own ecosystem, mitigating threats linked to human activities and fostering biodiversity to protect whales, dolphins, and seals.

Through Sea and Strategy cards, each participant builds and expands their own sanctuary, seeking a balance between conservation and sustainable development.
The game playfully promotes awareness of the Pelagos Sanctuary and highlights the importance of international cooperation for the protection of marine mammals.

The game was developed within the framework of the Pelagos Agreement 2024–2025 Work Programme, an international treaty establishing a sanctuary for marine mammals in the Mediterranean Sea, with the goal of promoting knowledge of the Sanctuary, marine mammals, and the pressures they face.

Pelagos Sanctuary is also an eco-friendly game: all materials are FSC-certified and completely plastic-free, ensuring sustainable fun that respects the sea and the planet.
