Injection tests carried out at the BB1 reservoir in San Potito with to increase storage capacity by exceeding the original static bottom pressure
OGS carries out seismic monitoring activities at the natural gas storage concession known as “SAN POTITO & COTIGNOLA STOCCAGGIO” on behalf of Snam S.p.A.
The monitoring activities were planned following the approval of the project to conduct overpressure storage tests, in accordance with the Ministerial Guidelines (ILG) prepared by the working group established at the then Ministry of Economic Development (Mise) for human activities potentially capable of inducing seismicity or ground deformation in their vicinity.
