I study permafrost and cryospheric processes, analyzing frozen ground dynamics, its degradation, and interactions with the climate.

I conduct field monitoring campaigns, develop and manage environmental databases, and participate in national and international research projects aimed at understanding environmental changes and their impacts on mountain and polar regions.
