Francesca Giovanna Battaglia

Marine geologist with experience in polar and oceanic environments, investigating climate change through geophysical and geochemical analyses, stable isotopes, biomarkers, and sediment cores. Her research focuses on reconstructing past oceanographic and climatic conditions, with particular attention to sea-ice variability and glacial processes along high-latitude continental margins, especially in the Ross Sea, Antarctica.
