I manage the Seismometric Network of North-Eastern Italy and the Dense Accelerometric Network of the Veneto region, where I have contributed to the installation of over 300 accelerometers in populated areas to enable rapid damage assessment. I also manage the seismic and accelerometric networks in Emilia-Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Campi Flegrei area.
I develop automated procedures for the rapid generation of post-seismic reports that determine important seismic parameters useful for both Civil Protection activities and engineering applications. For this work I use HPC (High Performance Computing) resources provided by the TeRABIT research infrastructure (Terabit Network for Research and Academic Big Data in Italy).
I also perform sensor calibrations activities at the Center for Seismological Research of OGS
