Giorgio Dall'olmo

Giorgio holds a PhD in remote sensing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2006).

At Oregon State University (2006-10) he studied phytoplankton ecophysiology and marine optics.

At PML (2010-22) he was part of the UK NCEO, the AMT and the international BGC-Argo programmes.

His research interests span from the processes involved in the biological carbon pump, to the impact of aerosol deposition on ocean ecosystems, to freshwater eels. He has spent more than 450 days at sea.
