Profile
I graduated in Natural Sciences from the University of Trieste in 2006. I worked in the field of air quality monitoring in Northern Italy.
Since the end of 2007, I have been working at the NODC research unit of OGS – National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics, within the Oceanography Section and affiliated with the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC/IOC). My work mainly focuses on the management, quality control, validation, and processing of oceanographic data at the European level.
I have participated in the following national and international projects: SeaDataNet, ADRICOSM-STAR, EMODnet Chemistry, ODIP, EMODnet Ingestion, EMODnet China, and Euroqcharm.
Since 2016 I am mainly involved in EMODnet Chemistry, within the working group responsible for the management of European marine litter data.
