As a Marine Mammal Observer and PAM operator, certified by ACCOBAMS and JNCC, I am involved in research into acoustic communication and the protection of cetaceans.
In the past I worked on the following topics:
- the characterization of sounds produced by Grampus griseus, Stenella coeruleoalba and Tursiops truncatus,
- anthropogenic noise affects on cetaceans,
- the monitoring and collection of acoustic data, DNA, ethograms and photo-identification on board boats, catamarans and RHIBs.
I worked as a science communicator on board, in schools and... in the water.
