I am a marine biologist and oceanographer with a PhD in Polar Sciences.
My research draws on a range of disciplines, from the study of diatoms and Antarctic ice to physical oceanography and marine mammals. My work aims to understand the connections between phytoplankton, top predators and the physical environment, contributing to the understanding and protection of polar biodiversity and the entire marine ecosystem, also in the context of the CCAMLR’s conservation objectives.
