Xenia Rodriguez Miret

I hold a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Ecology from Universitat de Barcelona. Both theses focused on diatom community responses to environmental change. In July 2024, I completed my PhD at CREAF (Barcelona) on the molecular basis of diatom responses to pH. In May 2025, I joined OGS in Trieste to develop a genome-scale metabolic model for the diatom Pseudo-nitzschia multistriata with the goal of analyzing its metabolic profile under varying environmental and genetic conditions.
