First national conference of the Open Science working group of CoPER "Public Research Institutions for Open Science"

The first national meeting of the Open Science Working Group of the Council of Presidents of Public Research Institutions (CoPER) will be held on Tuesday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 7 in Rome at the headquarters of the National Research Council (CNR).

The goal of the event is to take stock of the work that has been done and to create external links to CoPER in order to create and strengthen synergies in the world of open science.

The organizing committee is composed by Giovanni De Simone (Cnr), Stefano Bianco (INFN), Anna Grazia Chiodetti (INGV), Mario Locati (INGV), while the organization of the sessions was handled by: Emanuela Secinaro (INRIM), Roberta Maggi (Cnr), Silvia Giannini (Cnr), Susanna Terracini (INDAM), Francesco Lazzarini (ISPRA), Pasquale Lubrano (INFN), Francesca Di Donato (Cnr), Roberto Caso (UniTN), Angela Saraò (OGS), Alessandra Giorgetti (OGS), Roberta Vigni (ISPRA), Antonella Gasperini (INAF).

The Open Science Working Group was created in December 2021 to promote coordination on Open Science between research institutions and between research institutions and universities represented by the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI).

The conference will include a working session on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 6, and a public session on the morning of Wednesday, December 7.

Participation is free with mandatory registration.
