The Ministry of University and Research - MUR allocates €1.5 billion to public research institutions

The Ordinary Fund for Research Institutions and Bodies for 2025 (Fondo ordinario destinato agli Enti e alle Istituzioni di ricerca (FOE) per il 2025) is approximately one and a half billion euros, with an increase of 10 million compared to last year. The Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, has signed the decree allocating €1.485.883.600 for the ordinary functioning of public research institutions supervised by the MUR.

The President of the OGS, Nicola Casagli, welcomed with satisfaction the decree signed by the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, which grants the OGS an increase in ordinary funding for 2025, bringing it to over 25 million euros. This is a significant indication of the strategic importance assigned to public research institutions within the national innovation system.
