EOSC-Marine

The EOSC Ocean & Waters Node aims to transform the current marine node of the EOSC Federation into a fully operational component, providing researchers with a compliant digital environment that offers access to core services such as authentication, catalogues, workflows, support tools, as well as multidisciplinary data. These resources will support the objectives of the EU Mission “Restoring our Ocean and Waters by 2030.” Building on the results of Blue-Cloud 2026 and the EDITO programme, the Node will become the EOSC entry point for FAIR ocean data and services, closely linked to the European Digital Twin of the Ocean. It will also enable testing through key scientific use cases, support the integration of new services, and contribute to governance and sustainability, ultimately positioning itself as a fully operational and interconnected node within the EOSC Federation.
