My research activity aims at assessing impacts caused by natural hazards on exposed assets (e.g. buildings, infrastructure) and human activities.

I am involved in the definition of impact assessment methodologies for seismic events and potential cascading effects, with focus on multi-risk exposure development. In the past, I developed methods to assess impacts of volcanic eruptions.

I am involved in projects related to the High Performance Computing research infrastructures.
